Meet Marianne.

Care for the story. Care for the person.

Every estate has a story.
Marianne Harris, founder of Compassion Estates
Marianne Harris · Founder

After retiring from a 40-year career in the restaurant industry—including 20 years as a franchise owner—I turned my focus toward a longtime passion: antiques, vintage pieces, and the art of resale.

As I explored different selling venues, I quickly realized there was much more to each item than its market value. Every belonging carries a history, and behind every estate is a person, a family, and a meaningful life transition.

That connection became a calling and inspired me to create Compassion Estates. My goal is to provide an all-inclusive approach—from organizing and preparing the estate to selling, consigning, donating, and clearing the property—making the transition as seamless and stress-free as possible.

My responsibility is not only to be a good steward of an estate, but also to ensure that the person or family benefiting from my work remains at the heart of every decision. I approach each estate with respect, integrity, and genuine compassion—because the people behind the possessions will always matter most.

Room for your questions.
